| Notes: | Collectors roll for the county of Kent. The information in this roll was extracted from the five inquests (one for each lathe) now at E 179/124/105. Some parts of those inquests are damaged and illegible, and hence the details have been taken from this roll instead. It also contains details on payment not present in the inquests. The lathes have not been recorded, but appear as follows: Sutton-at-Hone - rots 2-4; Aylesford ('Larkfield') - rots 4-6d, 13; St Augustine (including Canterbury) - rots 7-9d; Scray ('Shewinghope') - rots 10-11d; Shipway - rot 12. |
