11-12th January 2013 – Prof Jim Bolton and Dr Bart Lambert will be talking about the project at the University of York’s conference Britain, Ireland and Italy: Cultural Exchanges c. 1270 – c. 1400.

12th March 2012 – Dr Bart Lambert will be talking about the project at the Scottish Centre for Diaspora Studies, University of Edinburgh.

13th March 2013 – Dr Jessica Lutkin will be talking about Hampshire’s resident aliens to the Winchester branch of the Historical Association.

16th April 2013 – Prof Mark Ormrod will be speaking on the project in a special York session on ‘medieval multiculturalism’ at New York University.

10th May 2013 – Prof Mark Ormrod will be speaking on the project to the Historical Association’s Annual Conference in York.

8th June 2013 – Dr Jonathan Mackman will be talking about the project at the British Association for Local History’s Local History Day.

13th July 2013 – Dr Jessica Lutkin will be presenting a talk entitled ‘Laid to rest in a foreign land: brasses and tombs of England’s resident immigrants, 1350-1550′ at the Monumental Brass Society‘s AGM.

7th September 2013 – Dr Bart Lambert will be presenting a paper entitled ‘Ancestry from Abroad: Migration to England between 1330 and 1550′ at The Halsted Trust’s conference Migration To, From and Within the British Isles at Hinkley, Leicestershire.

28th September 2013 – Dr Jessica Lutkin will be talking about the project and Southampton’s immigrant population at the Tudor Revels’ Meet the Ancestors event at Gods House Tower in Southampton.

7th November 2013 – Dr Jessica Lutkin and Dr Jonathan Mackman will be presenting two papers at the conference Medieval Merchants and Money: A Conference in Celebration of the Work of Professor James L. Bolton at the Institute of Historical Research, London.  Jessica’s paper is entitled ‘Settled or fleeting?  London’s medieval immigrant community revisited’, and Jonathan’s paper is entitled ‘Was it really worth the effort?  The administration of the alien subsidies, 1440-87′.  Their session will be chaired by Prof. Mark Ormrod.

16th November 2013 – Prof Mark Ormrod will be talking about the project at the Local Population Studies Society’s conference in Lancaster on Immigrant Communities in Britain.  WE REGRET THAT PROF MARK ORMROD WILL NO LONGER BE PRESENTING AT THIS CONFERENCE BECAUSE OF ILL HEALTH.  MANY APOLOGIES.

19th November 2013 – Prof Mark Ormrod will be talking about the project at the Durham branch of the Historical Association.

22nd November 2013 – Dr Jessica Lutkin and Dr Bart Lambert will be presenting a paper entitled ‘The Yeoman of the Chamber and the Secretary for French Affairs: Construction of Individual Alien Identities in Later Medieval England’ at the Late Medieval Seminar at the Institute of Historical Research, London.

5th December 2013 – Dr Bart Lambert will be talking about the project at the Autumn Lecture VZW Levend Archief, Bruges.
